JOHANNESBURG – A young musician from Johannesburg is proving the principle of Ubuntu really is child’s play.
Tyrone Aaron (12) has been encouraging his local community to help the children of striking miners.
And thanks to his efforts, learners at a school in Marikana have received various donations to help keep them warm this winter.
He was given a hero’s welcome when he came to hand over the donations, worth a staggering R80,000.
Tyrone said the reason for his visit was to remind the children that they are not alone during this tough time.
